1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
Murray State is my home away from home, and has been all the way from when I was an undergraduate student. I care about the university, respect and think very highly of my co-workers who bring their whole selves to work everyday. I love learning, sharing and caring for our people. It is my sincerest wish to serve in the governance of this great institution to ensure and protect the interest of our staff who are the heart, blood and veins of this university.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement. Prior to this job, I worked as a Kentucky State Probation and Parole Officer. Before that, I worked as the Executive Assistant for the Region One Service Center which was a KDE regional office housed on Murray State’s campus back in the 1990’s to 2000’s. I am a member of the JCSET Diversity and Inclusion Committee and S.O.U.L. which stands for Sisters of Unique Ladies via the Murray Center for Accessible Living. Periodically, I also perform at the Murray Playhouse in the Park. Lastly, I’ve served on various university committees and held other leadership roles throughout the years.
