Write-in voting is not allowed for the staff regent election. If someone is interested in serving as staff regent they need to file prior to the deadline.
How long will the winner serve?
The staff regent’s term will expires on June 30, 2027.
When will the candidate list be announced?
The candidate list will be announced after the filing period ends and Human Resources has verified the candidates.
When is the election?
This year’s election will run from 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Look for the election link in myGate.
When will the results be announced?
Election results will be announced Thursday morning, March 14.
When will the winner begin serving?
The winning candidate’s term will begin July 1.
