1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I have been an MSU employee for 9 years, but a part of the campus community for 15. My experience working with MSU staff is quite diverse. These experiences range from working for outside vendors (prior to being a student), as a student worker in three departments, and holding three different full-time staff positions in three different areas. Working with MSU staff in these various capacities brings a holistic perspective to the conversation. My entire professional career is comprised of being an MSU staff member. By earning two degrees (and working on three), I owe my academic career to MSU as well. These qualities – combined with prior Staff Congress experience – make for an ideal candidate, in my humble opinion.
