- Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I am a third generation Murray State employee. I personally believe that Murray State is one the best places to work. However, I think there are some things that would make it even better. I am a very solution based individual, and I think that the best solutions will come from all of campus working together. I want to be someone that people can bring their issues to, and then be able to bring them to staff congress to find a workable resolution or explanation. I think that by being on Staff Congress I will be able to provide a fresh perspective and energy, while also having a strong working knowledge of how this University functions.
2. Please list work experience and community involvement.
Outside of work I am an active member of Westside Baptist Church where I serve in the Kids Ministry. I am also an active volunteer at my son’s elementary school. I am a Murray State alumni, where I served as a SGA senator for 2 years, and judicial board vice chair for 1 year. I was previously employed by River Valley AgCredit as their Risk and Compliance Specialist. I am very active in my community, and I love to find ways to actively give back.
