The candidate was presented with the following questions. The responses are printed as received and have not been edited by Staff Congress.

1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
Murray State is a very special place to me and my family. Over the past 25 years, I’ve experienced MSU as a student, faculty member, and staff member. In 2020, I’ll take on a new role as a Racer Parent. I’m proud to serve as a staff member, knowing the difference we all make in the lives of students, as we work in our various, vital, roles to support the University community. Staff Congress serves as our voice in the shared governance of the University and I believe my Murray State experience, in all of its forms, would serve me well in this capacity. I welcome the opportunity to serve as a voice for all Murray State Staff.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement. I’ve served the University as Production Director for WQTV/Broadcast Media Services (98-03), JMC Faculty/TV Operations Director (03-12) and Manager of Digital Media Services (12-present). My community involvement includes serving on the Soup for the Soul Board of Directors and as a member of the Calloway County Extension Council. I’ve also recently contributed media production services to nonprofits such as The United Way of Murray-Calloway County, Life House, and the Murray-Calloway County Homeless Coalition.

(William) Jeremy is a candidate in the Executive/Managerial/Professional category.
