1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I feel like it is important for employees of regional extensions of campus have a voice in decisions that are being made on/by main campus. Extended campuses would often get overlooked without a representative to speak for them.
2. Please list work experience and community involvement.
I have been at Breathitt Veterinary Center since October 1995. I have served on the Working Conditions committee and Insurance and Benefits committee, as well as Staff Congress President and Vice president. I have served as President-elect and President for the national chapter of the Association of Veterinary Microbiologists and currently serving my fourth term as the national secretary/treasurer for AVM. I have also served on an HOA board of directors.
