1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I would like to serve on Staff Congress so I can help make a difference for current and future employees. All Murray State staff are crucial to the overall success of the university. I want to use my experience to further the goals of Staff Congress and be a voice for our employees. Murray State staff is the university’s backbone and a key partner in building relationships with students, faculty, and alumni. I want to serve as their representative and share their ideas to continue making Murray State University a great place to work.
2. Please list work experience and community involvement. I have worked on campus since 2009. I am an administrative assistant in the Curris Center administration office. Previously, I worked in the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS). These positions provided me a wealth of knowledge regarding the functions of an academic college and student life. I have served on various committees such as employee searches and student programming. Currently, I serve on the Great Beginnings planning committee and the Student Programming Committee.
