1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I am excited to declare my candidacy for a position on Staff Congress! Throughout my time at Murray State, both as a student and now as a professional staff member, it has been my focus to lead with my heart and that means seeking out opportunities in which I can help serve others. To be in a position of service is a great honor and I believe Staff Congress gives our community of staff members a productive space – allowing for great representation and a strong voice to encourage University-wide transparency, sound support of all staff members and to continue and enhance our University shared governance policy. I would love to earn this opportunity to serve, represent and help to protect the interests of my fellow staff colleagues.
